She has performed professionally in numerous fully staged operas and concerts in Southern California, including with Opera Santa Barbara, Los Angeles Baroque, Los Angeles Camerata, Jouyssance Early Music Ensemble, Dream Orchestra of Los Angeles, Center Stage Opera, Guild Opera Company, Ridgecrest Opera Guild, and others. She studied piano privately throughout her upbringing and uses her skills regularly to teach voice and piano students alike.

Ms. Sheila has been teaching voice and piano lessons since 2013. For singing, Sheila believes in teaching a healthy vocal technique which can be applied to any style of music, be it pop, musical theater, rock, or opera. Lessons focus on technique and proper warm ups, as well as building up the student's repertoire. The technique should allow you to be free to express yourself to the fullest while you sing so that you enjoy your performance experience.

For piano, Ms. Sheila believes in a strong foundation in music theory to help in the student's understanding of what they are playing. This work, combined with regular practice, adds greatly to the enjoyment and mastery of the instrument.

Overall, Ms. Sheila wants to make singing and piano fun while challenging the students to do their very best and always progress.
